Take As Much As you Want
“He said, “Take the arrows”; and he took them. He said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; and he struck three times, and stopped. The man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times. Then you would have struck Syria until you had consumed it; whereas now you will strike Syria just three times.”” (2 Kings 13:18-19 WEB)
When God releases an indefinite rhema word for you, such as, “Take the arrows…strike the ground,” it means that you are free to receive as much as you want to from that word of enablement.
That prophetic word did not come with a specific instruction of how many times to strike the ground.
In such cases, always do much as you can.
It is like having a door of a treasure vault open and God telling you to take as much as you want.
The more you act on the word, the larger in measure you will receive from it.
Other examples from the Bible: after the prophet’s word, the widow who poured the oil kept pouring into more vessels until there was no more containers left. Once the words “There aren’t any more vessels” was said, the oil stopped multiplying.
Also, when Jesus multiplied the bread and fishes, the multiplication miracle stopped when the people were satisfied.
The question is, when it comes to the things of God, when will you say, “Okay, that’s enough for me.”
